Gurugram: PlaySuper, a gaming commerce platform redefining monetization for free-to-play and skill-based games, has raised $1 million in seed funding to strengthen its rewards-as-a-service model.

The investment round was led by Singapore-based gaming venture capital firm Chimera, with participation from Audacity VC, IAN Capital Fund, and Dhruv Vohra, Managing Director of Meta for APAC Emerging Markets.

PlaySuper’s Innovative Monetization Model

Founded by Shouradeep Chakraborty (CEO), Upamanyu Chatterjee (COO), and Abhir Das (CBO), PlaySuper enables gaming platforms to integrate branded, non-monetary rewards – such as gift cards and consumer products – directly into gameplay.

PlaySuper has already surpassed $350,000 in monthly gross merchandise value (GMV), with early partners reporting notable improvements in player retention and revenue.

The newly secured funds will support deeper product development, expansion of brand partnerships, and scaling of operations across India and Southeast Asia.

Investor Confidence

Commenting on the funding, Krish Anurag, General Partner at Chimera, said: “We see gaming commerce as the next big monetization unlock for emerging markets. PlaySuper has built a category-defining solution at the intersection of gaming, brands, and consumer behavior.

Their early traction proves the model, and we believe they are well-positioned to become the backbone of monetization for free-to-play and skill-based games across India and Southeast Asia.”
